Starting Your Franchise

Starting your business needs to begin with a plan. You should have outlined your business plan during your franchise discovery. You’ll want to know who your competition is, what they charge, where they are, who your customer is and where they are, how are you going to find and attract your customers, etc. Then you’ll want to map out timelines. What are you going to do the day you sign your franchise agreement? What will you do each day to begin planning and building your business?

Your franchisor will likely have a plan for you to follow including lots of checklists but you need to make YOUR plan including when you expect to break even and what your anticipated revenues and costs are monthly from day 1 going out at least 3 years. The roadmap will change so be prepared to adjust but you need to have a roadmap to know where you are going!
